Cadets Sailing in the Bay

Saturday 9th May saw Herne Bay Sailing Club Cadets hit the water for some serious fun.

On Sunday mornings the senior cadets race and train, but on the published Saturdays afternoons shown on this site all the younger cadets join in and learn through play.

The games are structured to teach them how to sail and become confident on the water, but they certainly have a lot of fun in the bargain.

Safety Boat Drivers

Is it just me, or are safety boat drivers getting younger as well as policemen?!

Getting Younger

Don't know about the drivers but the front of the fleets surely is!

And thats before the GSCE's are over and they have all summer to practise!
