Congratulations to Richard, Allan and Harvey for winning races over Easter in generally good conditions with cool winds from NW and NE but with plenty of bright sunshine.
Allan is sailing like a man possessed and surely would have won the Friday Hot Cross Bun but for falling foul of Air Vice Marshal Dengate's exacting standards in insisting that the correct course is followed. Several others the small rodent route to DSQ and it was left to Richard, Graham and Luke/Doug to battle for podium places. Sunday's race was the Easter Bonnet Pursuit and this time Allan decimated the field and romped home, followed by Laurie (AVM) and James who got the better of a closely grouped flock of Radials. On Monday there was a major aberration because it appears that Admiral Burwin took the honours with Sally and Olaf close behind when the handicaps had been calculated. I'm double checking- that cannot be right can it? On Saturday we had a good Improvers turn-out in a brisk N or'Westerly and we were impressed with the performance of those hardy and keen novices. The Halsail system is functioning well and don't forget you can look at the results online anytime. Regards Richard
