It's time, the slipway goes down on Saturday morning. Volunteers from 8.30 please.
We hear all the time that if this isn't done no racing, if that isn't done no training, but if this doesn't go down no sailing at all because there's no way of getting the boats in the water. There is always a very good turn out for the downing and upping but we still need you. A few of the big volunteer organisers Alistair Clare Ben and a couple of others can't make it this year so we need all to pop down to help. Any time you can spare is welcome and there are other jobs to do as well, training boats to be moved, boat shed to sort out plus many other things to be done. We would love the big strapping lads or lassies to make their way down early to help with the humping of slipway sections. I'm sure there will be the usual tea coffees and hot food and help in the galley is always welcome. Looking forward to seeing you there and even more looking forward to the Sunday when it all starts. The slipway laying supper follows Saturday evening. A great many thanks. All committees
