Herne Bay Sailing Club

for my A level PE i am doing sailing as my sport i have to write up about how the sport is furthered in my local area. because i am from hernebay sailing club i am using this as my example of a club in my local area. there are however a few things about the club that i dont know and i need to find out.

at the moment i need to find out whether the club is in the voluntary/ private/ public sector
the voluntary sector means that all is done voluntary and no one is making a profit out of the club
private is where the club is owned and someone is making a profit out of the club
public means the club is funded by the government

i can guess that the club is part of the voluntary sector with no profit being made and the government not completely funding the club but it would be good to have evidence from other club members to back up my case.

also if anyone knows which category whitstable sailing club falls under then all the help would be appreciated
