What's the cost?

As you will see we are an RYA Training Centre and we are authorised to run virtually all of the RYA
dinghy sailing courses.

As we are a sailing club first and foremost (and not a commercial sail training school) we offer training to
all our members to what ever level they want to take things. Our courses are run by qualified volunteers
from the club, usually on a Saturday.

Firstly you need to be registered as a sailing member of the club to qualify for the discounted courses that we run.
(This is never a problem as you will need somewhere to practice your new found skills and we have the best sailing
waters and facilities around).

When joining via our training route you receive discounted annual membership subscription as follows;

• Family membership £157*. (Parents and all children under 18 years of age).
• Adult membership £109*.
• Student membership £43*.
• Cadet membership £31*. (Please note that a cadet joining by themselves must have a responsible adult join
  as a non-sailing member and be present at the training, cost £43)

*Please note that a one-off joining fee of £25 (applicable to all categories)

Further two day training courses are priced at just £126 for adults and £63 for youngsters
under the age of 18.

We will supply everything you need from wet suits, buoyancy aids etc to the training manuals, even the tea and coffee are
complimentary.

On completion of your Level 2 course,
you receive your "dinghy sailing licence" and we will reward you with x 6
boat hire vouchers free of charge. This will get you started and you can try out all of the club boats for free before
you consider committing your own money to buying a boat.
