There has also been the Wednesday evening sessions with ‘Herne Bay High’ and the ‘Archbishops School’ year nine pupils doing their taster sessions. Both sets of pupils were fun to teach and once again enjoyed their experience and thanked the members who helped at these sessions.
The evening of June 11th being a particularly wonderful evening, a perfect wind and plenty of sunshine to welcome Archbishops down for their first taster session. It’s great to see our own club instructor Matt Hickson playing a very different part as ‘Sir’ when he brings his pupils to the club. Obviously a well-liked and respected member of the staff being equally supported by Mrs. Kirsty Layton a ‘Yachtmaster’ herself from Archbishops. Seeing these pupils enjoying themselves reminds us why we do this.

Goose-winging heads Look mum I can sail, well with Liz helping!!!!!
and then you fall in the water!
A personal thank-you to all club members who have come down on Wednesday evenings at 3.45 to help out either with driving safety boats, being shore crew, or being generally helpful and making this a wonderful experience for these youngsters. Thanks to all!

Wednesday evenings are good for sailing
Hi guys
After the pupils from Archbishops School finish their sailing on Wednesday evenings it's a great time to come down and sail. You can even come and sail with them if you wish, or just watch them enjoy themselves. Remember it's why we joined the club - Sailing is fun!!!!!!
