Hi all
The carol singing evening will be on the 15th December from 7 pm onwards. Mince pies and mulled wine plus usual bar. Feel free to wear Christmas attire.
Carolsheets will be supplied by myself and Karl Royer.

In addition I shall be opening the bar every last Friday of the month from January through to March,.
January 26th , will involve a small quiz
February 23rd will involve some games
March 30th to be decided.....

If anyone would like to jump on the waggon and organise food for those nights feel free to do so...maybe a curry night....
Kind regards
Simone Royer

Slipway Upping 21st October

5/10/2017

The slipway is due to be upped on Saturday 21st October. For new members, this means removing the wooden sections, scraping and cleaning the barnacles off the sections, knocking the rust off fixings and stacking the sections securely next to the fuel store.

All members young and old are encouraged to come down early on Saturday morning to help out; there's a job for everyone. The more hands the quicker the job is done and the bacon sandwiches can be consumed. Timings will be confirmed by the Sailing Committee.

Members' boats need to be removed from the Mirror Park--the area between the clubhouse and boatshed--before the slipway is upped so that the sections can be stored.   If you are not sure why members' boats have to be taken away over the winter, have a look at Ian Moore's video from 5th October.
