Here is the second write up of the Year, reporting on the Annual Walk to Reculver, starting at the Sailing Club for the Majority or if like me started my walk in Beltinge.
I didn't spot any of the Hardy Annuals until I reached Reculver and went into the Ethelbert for a Coffee and there sitting very happily was Martin Poole, the Advanced Guard, also Keeper of Keys of HBSC as he was the last to leave the Club and made sure that it was secured and there were no stragglers who may need a lift to Reculver. My walk was very quiet but as usual I managed to get a few photos en-route, whilst in the Ethelbert I was able to have a well earned cup of Coffee before going out to get photos of the Ramblers as they arrived. Charlotte, Jacob and Samuel, were the only ones to investigate the Children's Adventure Playground before heading over to the Pub to order their lunch. It was lovely to sit down and natter for a little while, take more photos and then head back to Beltinge, leaving the rest either tucking into their Lunch, chatting or, in the case of Charlotte, Jacob and Samuel, heading out the door to the Adventure Playground while they waited for their meals.
